Meet the Guys

Scott Davis

Scott and his wife Regina live in Soldotna, Alaska where they own and operate Davis Block & Concrete. They are very proud of their two children, Cory 20 and Carly 18 - both currently are reigning national champions and will be racing for Arctic Cat in the National Snocross Circuit for the 09/10 season.

Scott finished 2nd Place in the very first Iron Dog in 1984, when he was just 24 years old. With the exceptions of the 1990 and 1996 races, Scott has participated every year since, and is a 7-time Champion (1985, 1989, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998 & 2007).

When he's not training for the next Iron Dog race, Scott enjoys powder riding at his cabin in the Caribou Hills and other location in Alaska, and he never misses an opportunity to watch and support his kids when they compete.

Todd Palin

Todd Palin is a retired production operator for BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. in the North Slope oil fields. He and his wife, former Alaska Governor and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate (2008) Sarah Palin, are both life-long Alaskans and live in Wasilla.

Todd enjoys commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, flying his single engine aircraft, snow machining and spending time with his family at their cabin on Safari Lake near Petersville, Alaska.

Todd and Sarah have five children, Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig. The eldest, Track, is currently serving in the U.S. Army and in September 2009, he returned from a one year tour in Iraq. In addition, they have grandson, Trip.

Todd began his Iron Dog experience in 1993 at the age of 28. He has run every year since and is a 4-timer Champion (1995, 2000, 2002 & 2007). 2010 will be Todd's seventh year with racing partner Scott Davis.
