The History of Team #22

Scott & Todd, having competed against each other in previous years, teamed up to run the Iron Dog™ as Team 17 in 2004, finishing in 2nd place. They again finished 2nd in 2005 as Team 7, and yet again took 2nd in 2006 under their current number.

Team #22 overcame the 2nd-place-curse in 2007, becoming an Iron Dog™  Championship Team by arriving in Fairbanks in a grueling 38 hours, 7 minutes and 57 seconds. In rare, nearly photo-finish style, Team #22 crossed the finish line with the 2nd place team close enough to hear their competitors' engines.
